# Outlook and Office 365

> Bookings land on the right Outlook calendar before the prospect ends the call. Two-way sync across Outlook.com and Microsoft 365, Teams links included.

# Outlook and Office 365

The agent books on your Outlook calendar in real time, including shared and room calendars. Two-way sync keeps the rep, the agent, and the recipient on the same schedule. Microsoft Teams meeting links generate automatically when configured. Works with Outlook.com and Microsoft 365 accounts (personal, business, and enterprise tenants).

## What changes

* **Live availability.** The agent reads free or busy on your Outlook calendar before it offers a time.
* **Bookings written directly.** Events land with caller name, conversation summary, location or Teams link, and a link to the transcript.
* **Two-way sync.** Reschedules in Outlook flow back into LumisReach. No drift between systems.
* **Room and shared calendars.** Reserve meeting rooms or book into shared team calendars where the right rep can pick up.

## Microsoft 365 admin approval

Some Microsoft 365 tenants require admin approval for third-party apps before users can grant access. If you see an "admin approval required" prompt, send your IT admin the app details from the integration panel. Once approved, every user in the tenant can connect without further admin involvement.

## Permissions

| Permission | What we use it for |
| --------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------- |
| `Calendars.ReadWrite` | Read free or busy windows, create and update events. |
| `User.Read` | Map calendar access to the connecting user. |

The agent never reads the content of your existing events. Only whether the time is blocked.

## What gets created on a booking

* **Title.** "Appointment with \[Customer Name]" or your configured template.
* **Description.** Service requested, AI-written conversation summary, link to the transcript.
* **Location.** Business address, "Phone call," or a Teams meeting link if conferencing is configured.
* **Attendees.** Customer email when provided, plus the assigned rep.

## Multiple calendars

* **Personal plus work.** Check both for conflicts before offering a time.
* **Shared calendars.** Book into the team's calendar so any rep can pick up.
* **Room calendars (Microsoft 365).** Reserve a meeting room as part of the booking.
