# Posting, schedules and analytics

> Connect your social accounts, post or schedule videos with a caption per platform, put a channel on autopilot, and see how every post performs.

## Connect your accounts

Go to **Content → Connections** and connect the accounts you want to publish to: **TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn and YouTube**. You can connect several accounts per platform.

### Pre-made social accounts

Starting from zero followers? Under **Content → Social Accounts** you can subscribe to an established TikTok or Instagram account and post your videos to it, with no sign-in needed. Each account is **\$20/mo**, added to your current subscription and billed monthly. Cancel any time. Browse the **Available** tab and manage yours under **Your accounts**.

## Post a video

On a finished video, click **Post to social** to publish now or **Schedule post** to pick a time (at least a minute ahead).

* Write one shared caption, or a separate caption for each platform.
* Per-platform settings: TikTok cover frame and sound; Instagram location, people tags, collaborators, alt text and AI label; Facebook Page and title.
* Slideshows can go out as a TikTok photo post or an Instagram carousel (up to 10 slides).

Each account gets its own post. Scheduled and published posts show on the **Calendar** tab of Viral Videos, where you can also cancel one that has not gone out yet. Posting is free.

You can also download any video and post it yourself.

## Posting schedules

A posting schedule puts a channel on autopilot: "make 2 videos every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and post them to these accounts at 9am". On every posting day [Lincoln AI](/concepts/lincoln-ai) researches what is trending, picks a template, writes the script and caption, makes the video and posts it for you.

Open the **Schedules** tab of Viral Videos and click **Post on a schedule**:

| Field | What it does |
| - | - |
| **How often** | Which days to post |
| **Videos per posting day** | How many videos each time |
| **Post at** | The time, in your time zone |
| **Ends** | Optional end date |
| **Post to** | The connected accounts |
| **Templates Lincoln may use** | Limit the styles it picks from (and steady the price) |
| **Direction for Lincoln** | What to make videos about, the tone, what to avoid |
| **Caption for every post** | Text added to every caption, like a link or hashtags |
| **Heads-up** | When to tell you what is coming, before it is made |
| **Also email me** | Send that heads-up by email too |

The dialog shows the expected price ("About \$X per video"). Each video is charged as it is generated, the same as a video you make by hand. Pause the schedule or skip a day before it runs and nothing is made, charged or posted. Schedules also appear under **Lincoln AI → Scheduled Tasks**.

<Note>
  Videos only post automatically when a posting schedule (or a Lincoln scheduled task) is set up. Videos you make by hand wait for you to post them.
</Note>

## Analytics

The **Analytics** step of every video shows two things.

**Predict performance.** Before you post, an AI review of your hook, script and video, weighed against how your past posts did. You get predicted views, likes and comments, and a score with the reasoning for the hook, the script and the video. Once the video is posted, the actual numbers show beside the predictions.

**Real performance.** After posting, the first stats arrive within the hour:

* Views, unique viewers, average and total watch time
* Likes, comments, shares, saves, reposts, follows, profile visits and link clicks
* Impressions, swipe-aways and per-view rates
* Views over time, followers vs. non-followers, and top countries

## Comment replies

Turn on **Comment replies** for a video and every new comment on its posts gets a reply written for it, usually within five minutes. A comment that just says "DM" gets the direct message you wrote instead, which is handy for "comment DM and I'll send you the link" posts. Comments left before you switch it on are not answered. This works on **Instagram** posts.
